Incredibly simply. Firstly, we start with a clarity call. We learn about your business, your ideal customer and the impact that your business makes. 

Once we’ve decided that the docu-film route is the best option for your brand, we begin exploring options for stories amongst your client’s successes. We take one of these stories as the base and begin pre-production. Planning, storyboarding and scripting.

It’s then time for production. Filming, photographing, graphic designing and any animations. Once this stage is complete, we move on to post-production – editing, sound design and colour grading. Sharing progress with you at each stage.

It’s then time for your feedback. We work collaboratively with you to ensure the docu-film reflects the story and your brand in the best possible way.

The main differences between the ‘brand-film’ and ‘docu-film’ packages are:

  • The docu-film package includes a longer main edit and more social cuts.
  • The docu-film package is primarily suited to customer success stories and case studies, with a real focus on story telling and cinematic delivery. Whereas the brand-film package is geared more towards high quality ‘about us’ and ‘talking head’ style videos.
  • Both packages include the same amount of filming time but the docu-film package includes more pre-production and more editing time, allowing us to dive deeper into the story.

Just because you don’t see an obvious story, it doesn’t mean there isn’t one worth telling. If you’re solving problems for your clients, there’s something meaningful happening and that matters. We take the time to understand what that looks like and why it works, then turn it into something powerful on screen. Our job is to bring those stories to light in a way that feels clear, honest and right for your brand. It’s not about drama or big claims – it’s about real value, real people and real results.

Depending on which package you choose, you will receive 1x main video edit, including a version with subtitles, plus a minimum of 2x vertical cut downs with and without subtitles for use on social media. You will also receive a maximum of 10x still images.

Yes. Once all funds have cleared in-line with the production agreement, you will own the copyright to the finished product. Unless otherwise agreed, all original raw, un-edited files will remain under the ownership of ODGE MEDIA.
